A lot of people have asked me why the first show last Thursday was so horrible.  I think this picture (a frame from the video) pretty much sums it up.

When I say it felt like I was interrupting people as they ate, this is what I meant.  Look at my face—half confused, mostly sullen—as the woman in the “front row” pays her waitress.  Or look off to the far right, as a man cranes his neck around in a “what’s going on behind me?” sort of way.
